Enter the World of Zaronix
Zaronix is a land shaped by conflict in the literal sense. Its borders have been drawn and redrawn by blood, fire, and the arrogance of men who fancied themselves eternal.
The Empire of Zaros once spanned nearly half the known continent. Unified under one banner, its rule brought martial law, brutality, and silence – the kind that follows when no one dares speak against the crown. It took the combined strength of the Protectorate and the Dawn’s Sanctum to bring the Warlord of Zaros to his knees. And even then, his death was questionable.
In the five centuries since, we’ve tried to fill in the cracks – with churches, with law, or with chaos, depending on who you ask. The Vagrant Roach claims nothing but survival. The Sanctum claims righteousness. The Protectorate claims unity. And the Empire? Well… it claims to still be rulers over all, even without their Warlord.
Scholars like myself are left picking through the aftermath. Sifting through bone and banner for truths no one wants exhumed. Most days, it’s theories and speculation.
But just yesterday, I heard a scout returned from the east….
The Most Recent Quiz
The time has come. The Warlord’s forces are marching upon Sylindril. The Council has reported the enemy is using divination magic to foresee the location of the ritual and has deployed their own countermeasures, but it’s unclear on what information the Empire has already gleaned.
You’re stationed in the heart of Sylindril and have been assigned to defend the city from being razed to the ground at all costs. According to scouts, you have one day before the Empire reaches the city, and maybe half a day for them to fully surround it, if you’re lucky.
