Prior to this, the Empire was an inconvenient cult, hiding away in their mountains with their outlandish rituals. But now, with the Warlord at the helm they have the potential to become an unstoppable force.
Your objective is to ensure your coalition’s success. Preparation is the first key to victory, and your party must not be idle.

Six locations stand before you, each with risk and reward.
Where you build your staging ground will determine the method of fighting moving forward. Will you become the unstoppable force? An ambush savant? Or something else?

The Warlord’s return was brought about with dark and ancient magic. Fortunately, a research team of mages in Sylindril found a ritual that target the revived dead, one that slowly drains their power and returns them back from whence they came. With your previous successes, you’ve been tasked to find a location to perform this ritual.
To fully secure victory, the Warlord must not find the location of the ritual. He will automatically suspect Sylindril, and your allies have agreed to bolster defenses there in preparation for a siege. You need a location away from prying eyes that won’t attract immediate attention. The longer the ritual lasts, the more of the Warlord’s power is lost. If all goes according to plan, you may not even have to fight him.
